# Quickstart Tutorial

> Follow the quickest guided path to verify Livepeer video or AI workloads on your hardware before moving to production setup.

  Use this tutorial when you want the shortest guided path from hardware check to a successful off-chain smoke test.

Move through the quickstart in this order:

1. Read the [Quickstart overview](/v2/orchestrators/quickstart/guide) to confirm the path matches your hardware and time budget.
2. Run the [video transcoding smoke test](/v2/orchestrators/quickstart/video-transcoding) to verify Docker, GPU passthrough, and local off-chain routing.
3. Use [Add AI to Your Node](/v2/orchestrators/quickstart/ai-prompt-start) when you want to extend the same machine with AI inference.

  The quickstart stays off-chain. Move to the [Setup Guide](/v2/orchestrators/setup/guide) after the smoke test passes and you are ready to configure a production node.
